3D Design
3D modeling is the process of using software to create a representation of a three-dimensional object or shape. The film, television, video game, architecture, construction, product development, science, and medical industries all use 3D models to visualize, simulate, and present graphic designs.
How does 3D modeling work?
The artist begins by creating an initial 3D design, such as a plane, cube, cylinder, or sphere, each made up of multiple polygons. This object is then expanded using various modeling tools to define the new shape. The workflow involves adding vertices, adjusting their placement, and manipulating the object’s mesh and dividing its polygons to create a new 3D object.
